22/4 Day 2 – Sunshine and Static Caravans

We are taking it in turns to blog, which is painful for the other 2 who are ict literate. Great little camp spot along from the Gribbin, and the only one at all. Finding sites is a bit of a theme.

A sunny calm start to crossing Belfast loch but an hour in and a stiff headwind, which is the story for the rest of the day. Along with serried ranks of holiday parks. A leisurely lunch at Donaghadee and then more bashing into wind. You can see the site we found after 40k…but it did the job David

  1. Early start today! What happens when you get to the border? Do they send out Customs launch? Where do you get your Euros?! More photos please!

  2. Following your journey from China. Campsites are a theme of sea kayak trips. Ards looked a bit like Buckie. Everywhere looks a bit like Stranraer. What are the temperatures of air and sea like?
